General Firing Service

Our firing service is available to the community

$20 per kilo- bisque firing 

$35 per kilo for glaze firing.

All ceramic pieces must undergo a bisque firing first, and then a separate glaze firing.

Thursday 10am-12pm
Saturday 10am-5pm

Firing Services offered:

Bisque- Cone 06

Midfire Glaze- Cone 5/6

Stoneware Glaze- Cone 8

Earthenware firings can be arranged by organising a whole kiln hire.

Whole Kiln Hire

You may also arrange rental of the entire kiln for
Small Kiln $100 per firing bisque or $135 gloss.
Large Kiln $150 per firing bisque or $185 gloss.

Our experienced kiln operator will load the kiln for you.

Turnover is roughly 14 days, however this time is dependent on the amount of work brought in by others and should be used as an estimate only. All firings are done in an electric kiln.

 

You will be contacted when your work is available for pickup, pieces will be held no longer than 7 days from time of text.
